Cushions (MAKE to ORDER) for Ercol Double Bow Tall Back Easy Chairs. New fabric - " Colours of Nature " - is in stock.

The cushions are hand-crafted in our family workshop in St Albans. The chair in the photo is not included.

The cushions fit the following Ercol armchairs. 478 Double Bow Tall Back Easy chair. 415 Tall Back easy chair. If in doubt about whether the cushions fit your chairs, please send photos of your chairs (front view and from the top of the back view) for identification to us via Etsy messaging service and we will respond as quickly as possible.

Attaching cushions to the chairs. The seat cushion has no fixing straps and sits on the armchair seat frame. The back cushions come with straps/press-studs to attach the cushion to the base studs screwed into the back of the char. Depending on the version of the chair, there could be either 2 fixing straps or 4 fixing straps. Foam core inside of the fabric cover.

Wrapped into polyester wadding (dacron) and stockinette to ensure the cushions do not go flat and do not lose height over time. The seat cushion comes with a 12 cm thick foam core.

The back cushions for the "buttoned - deep back" come with 115 cm thick foam. The back cushions for the "piped - shallow back" come with 8 cm thick foam.

Please check the photos to be sure how press studs and base studs look like. If your chairs have different base studs (we found that some older Ercol chairs - 50 years old or older - may have different studs), we recommend replacing them with the standard base studs. This requires 2 minutes DIY job per chair - it is that simple.
