Single Lounge Chair designed by Grete Jalk for France & Son in Teak (circa 1960). This is the sought after model 118 - very few of these chairs are currently for sale across Europe. Most have probably been recovered which is of course a matter of choice but possibly de-values them. Designed by legendary Danish designer Grete Jalk. This chair was bought new by the vendors grand parents and has been in the ownership of the same family since hence the provenance is unchallengable. The chair has neither been refurbished nor re-uphostered hence is in totally original condition.

Removable loose covers were made up at some point and this has helped to preserve the upholstery. Correct sprung seat cushion and France and Son button to underside.

In remarkable condition with no damage. Very little signs of wear - please see photographs.
