Cushions can be removed for cleaning or reupholstered. To remove the cushions the chairs need to be folded flat. On the sides are the chair arms where the seat cushion cover folds over there are 3 screws which need in screwing. Once the screws are removed there is a brown plastic stopper at each end of the wood where the material folds over the side of the seat wood. These need to be gently pulled out.
